Thoughtful websites for businesses that care about their craft.

The best websites don't just tell people what you sell. They give people a sense of who you are.

If you take pride in what you create, your website should reflect that. I design websites that showcase your work, communicate your story, and make it easy for customers to find what they're looking for. Whether you're launching your first website or refreshing an existing one, my goal is to create something that feels like a natural extension of your business.

Many of my favorite projects are helping new food businesses establish their first online presence. From web design and photography to copywriting and search visibility, I enjoy bringing every piece together into an online presence that feels true to the business behind it.

New Bakery Website & Online Presence

When Pophams Bakery first opened in London, it had no website and almost no online presence. After discovering the bakery through a local article, I reached out to the owner and offered to help establish its digital presence.

Working from their existing logo and brand, I built their first website, wrote the website copy, organized information so customers could quickly find essentials like the menu, hours, and location, and registered the business with Google and other search platforms. As the bakery grew, its online visibility grew with it, making it easier for customers to discover and visit.

The website has since been redesigned as the business has evolved.

New Café Website & Food Photography

When The Little Crepe Cafe opened in early 2020, it had a logo and social media presence, but no website. After discovering the café, I reached out to the owner and offered to help establish their online presence.

I designed and built their first website, photographed their menu items, wrote website copy, and organized the site so customers could easily explore the menu, location, and hours. The photography became the foundation of the website, helping showcase the café's personality and handmade food.

The site has since been revised under new ownership, but the original version can still be viewed here.

Bakery Website Redesign & Photography

A Boston-based cookie company wanted to improve its online presence and make it easier for customers to order catering and specialty products. I redesigned the website, updated the product photography, rewrote product descriptions, and reorganized the site's structure to make it more intuitive for customers to navigate.

I also improved calls to action, streamlined the user experience, and optimized the site's internal linking to support search visibility. Within three months, the redesigned website contributed to a 30% increase in online sales.

Artist’s Portfolio Site

A mixed-media artist wanted a professional website that would showcase her work and make it easier for collectors to explore and purchase her art online. I designed and built the site from the ground up, photographed her artwork, wrote the website copy, and integrated the site with her online storefront and social media platforms. I also structured the site to support search visibility and used Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor performance after launch.

The finished website gave her a cohesive online presence that reflected her artistic style while making it easy for visitors to browse her work and connect with her.

Personal Food Blog

I designed this website to showcase my writing and food photography, customizing a WordPress theme with CSS and creating a custom logo. I intentionally kept the design simple so the photography and content remained the focal point.

The project continues to serve as a portfolio for my photography and demonstrates my preference for clean, content-first web design.
